Hypocrisy is Why I Stopped Writing

Just read a CNN email that the President condemns Russia's move in to the Ukraine as against international law.

President Barack Obama said today that Russia's military moves in Crimea violated international law, adding that "no country has a right to send in troops to another country unprovoked."

Seriously, does no one remember that this is exatly what we did to Iraq? I do.

Sure, hypocrisy is everywhere, but most folks are still pretty good people. Maybe now you can resign from Popedom, but you can't resign from people.

But I wound up here reading your comment because I woke up this morning wondering what that German phrase was that came from Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid -- Immer Essen was the name of the ship, and I wanted to round out the thought, so a few years back I poked around on a German translation site and came up with:
Immer essen, nie zufrieden
which is:
Always eating, never satisfied.
How did I wind up on your blog site? Well, in 2009 you left a comment on a site about Corgis (the dogs) -- the site was named "Immer Essen Farm," and they had a subsite about their corgi, see, and when I asked google about immer essen ... well, so I wound up here.

Immer essen, nie zufrieden. Seems to refer to a sort of general malady we've all got these days, I think.
I think we'll all get better.
